Smart Contract
Racing POD tokens are cryptographic tokens issued as smart contracts based on the Ethereum blockchain. They are based on the open source standards ERC-14000 and ERC-3643. This design ensures that only authorized persons or entities, in particular POD, have the ability to transfer or modify the number of Racing POD tokens held in a digital wallet. Unauthorized changes or transfers are restricted, and procedures for returning tokens in the event of loss or misallocation are built in.
A Racing POD token represents a 1/1000th share of a stallion's breeding career. Each horse is tokenized via a unique smart contract representing a limited number of Racing POD tokens.
Although all Racing POD tokens are equal, they are not fungible. Also, each Racing POD token has a unique, universal ID that links it to the horse owned by the series.
These IDs will be recorded in the register maintained by POD, which will be updated and modified to reflect the acquisition of Racing POD tokens by holders and published on the Ethereum blockchain.
Anyone will be able to search the Ethereum blockchain to identify digital wallets that hold Racing POD tokens for any POD horse.
For example, one of the first POD horses is POD-KRACK-TIME-ATOUT, which has a supply of 1,000 tokens, 390 of which are available on the platform. All Racing POD tokens are fully fungible within this series, but have no relationship with other Racing POD tokens outside this contract.
In accordance with current regulations and RWA token standards, Racing POD tokens are authorized and can only be exchanged between addresses meeting the defined authorization criteria.
